This is an ecclectic mix of work, most of which has resulted out of collaborating with artist Krista Peel on her miniature room boxes and calendar projects since 2004.  I am not a natural collaborator.  I enjoy working alone in my studio and asserting my own creative authority over the project at hand.  That said, I find the opportunities offered by Krista each year to be quite a gift, as they are presented as assignments of a sort, or a problem to solve.  In this way, I can work through the puzzle on my own and make many new discoveries about media (such as my love for vellum, hot glue, and now model train materials).  I really enjoy the process of making the work, then putting it in her hands as she interprets it for her own purposes.
